Susanna Smit, the sister of Gert Maritz, once said that she would rather ‘trek’ barefoot over the mountains than to live under British rule in Natal. This statement made Susanna famous and today a statue in her honour stands near Bergville. Her back is facing Natal and she is staring into the great unknown of the interior. Women in the Great Trek were well known for their bravery and perseverance.

Susanna Smit, die suster van Gert Maritz, het gesê dat sy eerder kaalvoet terug oor die berge sal trek as om in Natal onder Britse beheer te bly. Hierdie uitlating om haar vryheid te behou het Susanna bekendheid laat verwerf. Vandag nog staan daar ‘n standbeeld, naby Bergville op die Voortrekkerpas, in herinnering van Susanna Smit waar sy met haar rug op Natal gekeer wegstap. Vrouens in die Groot Trek is gekenmerk vir hulle dapperheid, deursettingsvermoë en moed.

R75-R139 for orders under 5kg in volumetric size. The precise cost will be determined on your location.

R90 - R165 for orders above 5kg in volumetric size. The exact cost will be determined based on your location. 

International deliveries

All international deliveries are made by Fedex or UPS couriers and the courier cost depends upon the volumetric size. Your shipping cost will be quoted separately based on the country we are dispatching to and the size of your parcel. 

Please note: A local import-duty can be applicable depending on the country that you reside in.

You are like family to us! If your product arrives damaged we will exchange it. Please note the following conditions apply:

  • You let us know of any damages within 7 days of your purchase
  • The product is still in its original packaging
  • The product is in the same condition as you received it

If your product is undamaged but you changed your mind or if you need another size or colour - we will meet you halfway. You can send the product back to us on your account or ask us to assist you in arranging a courier. We will then deliver the new product to you on our cost. All other conditions remain the same - namely that you should please inform us within 7 days and that the item should still be in its original condition. 

If you wish to return a product for a refund you will have to return the product to Repubk on your own account. Once we have received the product and it is in the original condition you received it we will make a refund via EFT. 

For international order all exchanges are for the account of the client.
